Dr. Shwetha Rodrigues, DDS

Dentistry is a very enjoyable profession for me. Not only am I able to provide services, I get to be part of many people’s lives.

The biggest impact I can make in a patient’s life is to encourage and guide them to take control of their daily oral health habits. Oral wellness has a tremendous impact on a person’s quality of life at every age, and I feel so proud to be able to give this to my patients.

Education and Continuing Education

My education has given me the knowledge base and training necessary to provide quality care to my patients. I attended the University of Pacific, School of Dentistry, San Francisco, graduating in 2003 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Prior to that, I received my Bachelors in Dental Surgery in India.

To keep up with the ever-changing world of dentistry, I continue my education through classes and seminars throughout the year. This helps me to stay up-to-date with the latest changes in dentistry and allows for a wider range of services to be offered. Like,

  • Laser Gum Treatment – LANAP – Treatment for moderate to severe gum and periodontal infection.
  • Same day crowns using cad-cam technology – CEREC
  • Gum Rejuvenation for receding gums – Pin-hole technique – scalpel-free, suture free gum lift.
  • Drilless fillings – arrests early cavities, removes white spots.
  • Clear Correct aligner treatment – Clear Braces
  • Sleep apnea and Snoring devices

Outside the Office

I am originally from India, married for more than 15 years. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy staying active and being outdoors with our long haired German Shepherd, Laika. I can usually be found trying new healthy recipes and spending time with family.

Supporting my Patients

I find it most rewarding to support entrepreneurs, businesses, and students. We have a dedicated webpage on our website for our patients that have their own businesses. Check out the “ support in the community “ section. You will find this a good resource for local businesses and services in different fields.

In the past 11 years, we have given opportunities for many students to shadow or volunteer at our office. It is very delightful to see them come back after they have graduated.

Commitment to you

Our office is open five days a week with extended hours on Thursday. We are accepting new patients and always make room for your referrals. Emergencies are seen promptly and we have reserved spots in our schedule to accommodate same day treatment.

If you have any questions or concerns you can always reach me directly using our online form.
